I wanted huge elevation changes, hoping for about 4 feet, so I started with the highest
point, the top of the straight. I didn't want to undercut the MDF, so I was going to find out
how much this stuff would stretch
The next section gets added to the end of the straight, but I haven't decided on the height yet
The hill is a little steeper than what I thought when I painted the wall...
I decided that this corner would lead into the village. Since the only squeeze on this track
would be through the village, I figured it was best to put it near the driver's stations
Before routing each section, I drew it on a sheet of cardboard to check for fit. Because of all
the elevations, each section was routed flat, then attached to the track. Once you start flexing
this stuff, all the angles change, so adding one section at a time is the only way to go.
