Putting a coat of primer on makes it look a little more like a track. I used Krylon spray paint, because it adheres
well to plastic.
The whole thing is primed and the divots are filled
I wanted the lanes to split here, with one lane crossing a bridge and the other lane dipping down through the
"water".
The bridge is made from cedar lath, with a center rib of plastic for the slot and the copper tape.
The whole track is brush painted with one coat of light brown Latex, because I want it to look like a dirt road
The copper tape is done and we test drove the track to make sure everything works in both directions. The
inside lane has to coast through the water and the bridge is bumpy enough that it can't be driven at full
speed. I can't keep it simple, can I?
